From September 2025, our new school catering provider is Dolce Ltd.

Dolce are a well-established family-run school catering business who also provide school lunch services for other schools in Abingdon and beyond.

The way in which pupils order their lunches has now changed. Dolce uses an online ordering system called SchoolGrid and parents/carers need to order their child’s lunches via this system. The great thing about this way of ordering is that parents/carers can order up to 12 weeks in advance and can choose, along with their child, exactly what their child will have for lunch each day. Menus will be available online, on SchoolGrid, from 28th July 2025.

When you access your SchoolGrid account, you can amend your child's dietary requirements, for example for allergies, so that you can never order something your child should not eat.

***All parents/carers need to order lunches on SchoolGrid, even if your child is entitled to a free school lunch.***

If you pay for your child's school lunches, the cost per meal is £2.75.

We have attached a flyer from Dolce with more information regarding this and if your child is already an existing member of the school, you should have received an email from SchoolGrid with your log-on details (please note only the parent/carer recorded as the first contact will receive log-on details).

Over the summer holidays, please ensure that you can access your account and that you have ordered your child's school lunch by 8.55am on the 3rd September 2025. 8.55am is the cut off each day for placing lunch orders.

We have considered this change carefully and believe that this switch will only improve our service and the range of lunch options available to our pupils. Our catering team will have improved access to quality ingredients, better ordering systems and will be supported by the catering expertise that Dolce offers.
